Earl L. Lucas, 2nd lieutenant, Modesto National Guard
Earl received the rank of second lieutenant while a member of the Modesto National Guard in June 1958. This is reported in the Modesto Bee, June 2, 1958, p. B1. The Ancestry.com link is here.
